tire question

hey quick question can 205/55/15 fit on my car they are toyo proxes 4 on stock 15" wheels

Your speedo will be getting into the range of noticeably incorrect, but they should be able to mount the tire on the rim. I was looking at some 225/50s once, but thats a slightly different size.

Have you thought about 225/60? I think thats another stock size.

i have the tire already with only 300 miles on them and went to have them put on and the guy said they wouldnt hold the wieght of the car

Well, whats the sidewall load rating of the tire? Theres a load rating calculator on tire-racks website.

They will most likely be fine for the car, he was probably just trying to get you to purchase his tires.
