Alarm box

Does anyone know what the 4 switches on the alarm box are for. This is the BMW unit located under the back seat of a 520i. Please can anyone help as i have got no manual for this car and i really want to know.

I have five switches.

1 = SENSOR CANCEL (OFF - ON)
2 = BEEP / CHIRP (OFF - ON)
3 = SELECTION (SIREN - HORN)
4 = G.B. SENSOR (LOW - NORMAL)
5 = TRUNK SW (POS. - NEG.)

Note: Number side is ON or HORN, NORM, NEG.
