I know of a transmission out of a 1992 525I with a 24 valve engine. My car is a 1989 520i 12V. Is it possible that I can take the transmission from that car and put it into my car. Someone told me that they wouldn't bolt up. Is this true? My car needs a new transmission bad and Im wondering if the M50 would bolt to the M20?
