Looks like these guys are going to start selling M30 headers as a production unit.

Price isn't bad, would be interesting to see a dyno before spending the cash.

Nice find Robin. Looks a little like the Hartge design but with slightly longer runners which should help the lowend a bit more. Looks like Carr made a better attempt to make equal lengths, whereas the Hartge's are obviously shorter on cyl's 4-6 than the front 3 tubes. As long as they handled the merge details properly, I'd say the Carr's would turn in decent numbers on a dyno, especially if one made a few other mods.

Comparison, Carr Industries:

Looks like the Carr design will require a trip to the muffler shop to tie it in. Were you able to connect with them for a set of flanges for your M5 headers?

According to the seller these are Ireland Engineering headers. Seller said they were 6 into 1... couldn't see from the picture but that would be a different design from what I'd seen before. Would probably indicate the need for a whole custom exhaust, unless one wanted to split it back into two tubes.

M5 headers are still in my garage... but I'm getting more eager by the day. Got to get the rocker arm fixed first. Driving the truck on the streets is wearing on me as there are so many more dingbats on the surface streets vs. the highway. At least once every commute I have to slam on the brakes, and in that truck the backs lock up and it goes SCREEEEEEEEE!!!! which is better than a honk for communicating "you moron!" to the guy in front of you.
