I will possibly be removing the rear-end out of a 735i this week, i searched but did not come across anything.

So does anyone have or know where i can get a write-up, or if it is straight forward enough for directions on this thread? I believe i remember something about chalking it before and after, to maintain alignment, so im not sure how easy this will be.

Any help is appreciated:D

take the 6 8mm allen bolts out of each axle, take the 6 driveshaft nuts off, take the bolt that's head is pointing torwards the front of the car next to the driveshaft hole in the subframe, unhook the speedo pick up and then take the two bolts out that hold the back of the diff in that are pointing toward the wheels, the diff should of fallen on your head by now, oh by the way it's ****ing heavy :D
