My buddy went to the dealer today and was quoted $500 USD to replace his thermostat (04 325i). I checked out the price of a new one at BMA (55.80) but I can't seem to find any info on how to do the swap as he doesn't have a Bentley manual. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Jim

E46fanatics has a writeup on it, Im sure. They have a separate DIY section, I'll see if I can find something.

From what I understand, its very similar to the M50, and quite easy.

id do the radiator hoses too, not so much for the hoses but i find if you touch any of those o-ringed hose connections they start leaking, other choice is to search out some hardwear store o-rings that fit

Thanks Winfred, I'll let him know about the hoses.
