I hope so, because I can get the calipers etc etc VERY cheap if they do fit!

He has posted a couple of charts that show the interchangeability (I think) of different brakes (Disc's and Calipers) it also has the part numbers as well.

Cheers!

bmwe34.net talks about it in detail

slightly larger i believe

rotors are a little larger so i'd assume the calipers would be too. different part numbers at least

E34 540i, E32 735i-il, 740i-il, 750il, front brakes will fit the E34.
E32 front brakes are an upgrade for non M5/M540i

the chart and this ^^^ is taken from bmwe34.net

my mistake, the rotors are larger 28mm vs 22mm. different carriers on the calipers then.

front, the calipers and 28mm thick rotors are a direct drop in
rear, the hubs have a different offset but it doesn't really matter as they are pretty much the same brakes on a 735 as the e34, 740/750s have vented rear which are nice, i swapped the trailing arms (bolts right in) to get them on my 535, slotted e32 fronts and vented rears work well

so how big of a difference are you expecting if you swap out the front rotors and calipers? I have access to a parted 735 is it worth the swap? Is there noticable bite? or will it throw off the balance from front to rear?

same swepped area just better heat absorbsion so it has no real effect on bias
