? about 89 535i strut mounts

i have an 89 535i what is the differance between the strut mounts for the 89 and post 07/90 models??

is there anyway to make the later ones fit?

one has a 19mm nut and the other has a 22mm nut. the bearing doesnt change. but i think V8 models use their own style and 6cyl mdoels use E30 style ones.

I would think if you used the later style upper mount the inserts with the larger shaft would fit. Of course I have no idea if the later mounts will fit in the early E34.
