I have seen so many junk aftermarket Chinese made wheels with BBS center caps that I guess people have bought these thinking they were buying real BBS wheels at the expense of the company itself.... not surprised really!

Yes, that hurt them a lot with the copies.
Last year when I was in Germany they showed in TV when about 10.000 copy wheels were crushed to pieces.
The customs office had confiscated them when someone wanted to import them.

i doubt bbs will go bankrupt...if they try i bet somebody would buy them out...

I have heard that BMW changed to O.Z. from BBS as OEM maker, that will also hurt them a lot.

Apparently, they lost a big customer, couldnt pay the bills, and were wished good bye from the banks.

Don't blame the Chinese manufacturer. Blame the cheapo consumers who bought BBS-alike wheels and put BBS caps on them.

I really hope they can pull out of this rut. This is the premier wheel manufacturer, I'd really hate to see them go out like this.

They are restructuring. Anyone who thinks BBS is caving hasnt read the articles.
