hey guys. i just noticed whenever i accelrate from a stop my steering likes to move left or right. what is this? im thinking rear subframe bushings are going south.

Get the Delrin Inserts from Bruno for the rear.... I forget the real name, but after I put them on the 540 it tightened up the rear end, no squirm at all.

****, my 540 does this for sure. Will that cause a shimmy on the freeway too (felt thru the car and not the steering), due to the play out back?

well i also need to get my wheels re-balanced since 2 of them have 2 weights on them. ugh i cant wait for spring to get my new wheels on.

yea mines all wiggly on take off and theres these strange lines on the pavement that i don't remember running over http://members.cox.net/wdixon27/burnout.gif

yes, most describe it as "the rear end of the car steers itself"

yeah mine does that. prolly subframe mounts. mine feels like it has 4 wheel steering (like my old mazda).

no it doesnt really affect freeway driving. at least i dont notice it.
