Main key wont start my car......

I can't seem to start my car with the main key that has the flashlight on it. It wont even make a noise..... here is the weird thing, my other key is able to start the car no prob. Has anyone ever experienced this before and what can I do about it?

Its almost certainly the EWS system playing up. Your car being a 1995 has the transponder unit in the key, what has happened is that your key hasnt received the new code from the EWS unit. Its a simple thing...you need to take the car to the dealer and get them to re program the key.

SO, what is the EWS system. I know, I know, I am a total newbie to owning a BMW and appreciate every bit I have learned from this board. Which is a ton.
