short shifter

hi everyone. i gotta question. would it be worth the money for a short throw shifter? i just want a less travel shifterm i just want something that i can shift quick.and what should i expect to pay for a short throw shifter>? and what brand should i look for?

i have an UUC evo3 kit that retails 300 i think or somewhere around there....decent shorter throw and you can adjust the height of the knob
