Yeah, but it's lonely :) I've picked up a 10-20mm F4 so things should be better this time around for pics.

We all know you want to show off the 8. You don't need to make a lame excuse about the e34. It looked fine if not great last summer. But it is ok if you don't bring the e34. We all want to see the 8 anyway. Your 8 will be the 'it' car of this year's meet.

Sure would like to see the new 8....too bad I'm gonna have to walk over to the *other* parking lot to see it....:D

You don't want to park by those old E34's anyway...;)

Good choice for the ROAD TRIP Jeff...does junior still want to come with? I was afraid he was a little bored last year. Maybe we could bring something like a remote control car for him to tear up for the day. Let us know, ok?

Junior has a buttload of remote vehicles which his ADHD dont use. The fishing pole last year that Ed provided gave us some awsome pictures of the little lake in the park. Duckies floating around and beautiful scenery was excellent. I'm not sure on vehicle but the 8 is the likely victom if we have less than 3 people.

I really regret missing the meet last year. Looks like I'll miss it again this year though - too bad Chicago is so far from the West Coast. (I know I know - it's a lame excuse)

It would be great to make it down though, particularly with both cars...

Enjoy!

Well thanks Ross for the offer. I will have more information in the next few weeks. Been busy as I just moved into a new home. This is again going to be a great event. I do not have to say more than what was written by bimmer.info's own Jr in the Roundel. The event webpage will updated for all the information. For those that did make it out last year, it will be at the same place. I am looking forward to karting and then drinks the night before, putting names to the friendly faces. Will keep all of you updated..

My fav body kit is the Alpina. I hate pin stripping but for some reason I love it on the Bi-Turbo. I love the racing suspension also. I wanted some but they are like rediculous 2k$.

You should try and come so I can photograph your cars. Maybe get a ride.

Well, I at least prefer to imagine I take quality photos.

There is kind of an Ubrandictionary.com definition for "Rape" - To utterly defeat another person in any form of competitive activies. Or To absolutely destroy.

Which Imo the Alpina does, and then I went in some small depth to explain why they do. Its also the fastest car ive ever felt so maybe im biased. Its just so gorgeous and sexy.

So with this urban word. The Alpina Bi-Turbo "rapes" all other E34's.

Now if I can just finish painting the hood, decklid, mirrors, bumpers, side skirts......and bolt them all back on.:D
Oh yeah.....I even rounded up some ACS sport springs from Germany too ! I'm finished modifying the stainless ACS exhaust,so its ready to install.
SPeaking of exhaust......I'm exhausted from sourcing all this ACS original stuff.I'm done with that, thank God.

Yeah, that is the grove. The same as last year.

If any of you are up here early, let me know. I will plan something fun like going to a pub or BBQ at my house. Of course, if there are any emergency repairs, umm like last year's gas tank, that takes priority.

I can't wait. Every year I wish it lasted longer and I guess the feeling is due to the people who attend rather than the actual time length. Having that e34 only day is simpy priceless. I cannot believe this is going to be the 7th year for the annual e34 meet. Next year is the 20th anniversary of the e34.

For what? You mean like a time to do any random little mods?

That would be a great idea.

I hit Maybe.... I really wanna go and I've been droppin hints to the soon to be wife since my surgery prevented me from goin last year.... and it can double as a time to visit the IL relatives, especially since they won't be at our wedding in May.... oh wait... we'll see how they do on gifts 1st LOL.... and it can triple as time to visit her cousin.... oh and theres a slim chance it could quadrupple as a time to take delivery of Scotts wifes E46.....

Those are all very good reasons to give to the fiance, lol. A win, win, win situation.

What route do you take? I am near Niagara Falls and I am debating whether or not to go through Canada or stay 90 west... I wonder if the speed limits are more liberal in Canada.

It would be cool to see an interactive map/site showing everyones routes to the event. A map that can have a highlighted line drawn by each person.Just to see,you know ??;)

Qube, I hear there is a little 'MAXBIMMER all BMW' cruise lined up for the 22nd of this month in TO. Are you going to be there? I was thinking of coming up with my son for the day.

Qube

Well if you're going to make the trip up to TO, then I'll highly consider joining. I rarely do MAXBIMMER events because they are mostly e30s and e46s.

I kinda figured as much, but it would be my first BMW gathering. I am pretty sure, but I won't know until next weekend if I can get the sunday off. I'll let you know.

Yes, I'm definitely going this year! I hope to convince some other e34 owners in my area to join me this year too!

I'm still working on my group's website, but here are a few pics from last year's Chicago trip!

I have found that Mace doesn't have that much kick... and I am not a big nutmeg fan... I would suggest something like

Jalapeno is about 2,500 - 5,000 on the hotness scale

12 hours 15 minutes? I see you're not stopping at all eh? Not even for gas? :)Sheesh, i’ve done garage to valet in the French Quarter in 13 flat a few times (900mi+); sentra, 3er and 5er. Nothin to it, ya just gotta average a ‘little’ better than 70mph. Of course it’s been timed wrong on a few occasions so we hit bad traffic down there and that sucked.
