And the funny thing is that used to not be a problem...70's and 80s yotas didn't have this problem, it was the redesigned ones that had frame rot.

lol for what it went through, pretty amazing it kept on going but on the other german note, theres a 95 325i at my indys shop with 328783 miles on the clock all with the original engine and transmission!!! just came in for an oil change and new filters

All the early 90s japanese cars around suffer from lots of rust. I keep hearing how reliable they are, but then I see the rust and I shudder.

This shouldn't be a problem for newer cars as I hear manufactures are starting to galvanize the metal surface.
