Reverse Interlock - 4HP 22/EH

Isn't there some sort of interlock that prevents the transmission from shifting into reverse in the car is moving forward over a certain speed?
I know it is not a recommended practice.

A pause into neutral with a vigorous rev of the engine before shifting to reverse is recommended.
