Just was wondering how koni adjustable equipped 540 owners were on the rear settings after having driven them for a while? My fronts are done, and have about 300 miles now. I'm pretty happy right in the middle setting for everyday driving. Is the consensus to adjust the rears accordingly? Mainly, I'm trying to avoid redoing this later.

Mind you this is with Eibach 'Sport' Springs and an Auto with about 4-5 pound of amps and a crossover mounted right over the rear axle.

Mr Project has some input in the above thread as well, which is very useful

While your at it, rear the title and do a Search, plenty of information here......otherwise you will not get help, they are a bunch of gnarly old bastagies here ;)

The first thing I do is check/search. searching is nice, but when I get 8 results, of which one is of much use - I ask. I'll just stop asking.

saluki540i:

You never mentioned that you have done a search nor what you had found.

My apologies if I have offended you. Just trying to help.

This forum is a wonderful resource, especially for non-dealer oriented people like myself. I definitely am trying to get as much up to date info. especially as more and more e34 540 owners are making this swap. The front half of the car is so much tighter than before. Unfortunately, between the Merkur and the 540 - the Merk is going to get my wrenching time to try and have the new motor/tranny installed & running by spring.
