Awesome buy. Grab some clear euros for the touring (hard to find), get some rims like style 5s, t-stars or m-pars and lower it a bit if you like and you'll have a mean looking T.

Looks very nice! I picked up a 95 525i Touring w/136k on Tuesday for $4200. Not quite as clean as yours but pretty nice & very well maintained.

I paid $1600 for the black one, and most of it's options don't work, trans is screwy, SLS leaks, P/S pump is shot, computer bad, etc, etc

The calypso I'm picking up on the other hand, everything works, has a suede headliner, and cost $2k. Only thing is the tailgate and sunroof panels are green and a salvage title.:D

You gotta good deal dude! Very nice! Let's see some interior pics!

the guy u just bought the calypso 92 from is a *******, i had made a deal with this guy 2 weeks ago and sent him a deposit and told him i was coming out in 2 weeks, we made a deal for 1500 dollars, took off work today and started driving for 10 hour trip, all of a sudden he calls me and tells me it has a blown headgasket after driving for a couple of hurs, didnt have the guts to tell me had sold it, i knew something was up, what a low life, made me waste a lot of money

Somehow I got that feeling from the guy's posts.

So are you going to sell the black on then?

Probably not. If I do, it'll go to my dad to cover the debt I owe him. He's gonna delete the options that don't work (sunroof, etc), take the good auto from the calypso, and drive it.

Sorry dude.:( He told me he thought he had it sold, and I had my dad go ahead and send him a deposit. He never said a deposit had been made. You got me really nervous now. I was told he has been using it as a daily, he's getting it detailed, etc....

I'll post pics of interior soon.

Some minor problems
1) Solenoid (fixed)
2) Alarm not functioning properly
3) Window controls need cleaning (fixed)
4) Alignment
5) Dried leather seats (Treated)
6) Idle speed too high
7) Headrest not working
8) Rocking seats
9) Dog hair everywhere (fixed)
10) Dog smell (fixed)
11) Stained chrome trim around window (Can I use barkeeper's friend?)
12) Wornout tint

Do you think I should remove the tint completely or put new tint on?
Which tint color would be good?

new tint. These are very large volume interiors, with a LOT of glass area.
