If you're going to do the 'Smoked' look, do it right.

That is, Genuine Hella 'Color-Design' Smoked headlamps, or tearing them apart and using the eBay 'Smoke' kit. Putting light hindering film on the lenses is not my idea of an improvement, in any sense.

The lamps on my E30 are Hella European 'Smiley' lamps that were smoked by a buddy in Germany, that used the eBay kit that includes the cross hairs, etc.

shogun, I have that lamin-x... good for hiding cracks but leaves you with NO lighting... and the highbeams will burn it... I want ot know more about this smoke kit... i can't afford $500+ for a set of smoked headlights.
