Is the purge valve connecting to carbon canister supposed to be opened at normal operation temperature, and wouldn't that create a vaccume leak ?.
I disconnected mine from the canister when the engine reached operation temp, and it was just open enough to allow a generous amount of air into the intake.... i thought it was supposed to close after releasing the pressure of petrol fumes in the canister.....any ideas ?
