e34 540 write ups....

anyone know where i can find good mag write ups on the 95 540/6 like Road and Track, Car and Driver, ect on line. cant seem to find any. ebay has nothing, i love documentation on any car that i own...thanx

Car and driver did one in 1994- The cover was called "Sedans for the Eorking Rich." No sure if you can find it on line or not. The was also one floating around somewhere that had 3 different 540s that were reworked by Dinan and others.

You could just buy the book. Brooklands Books UK have a publication called BMW 5 Series Gold Portfolio 1988 - 1995 which comprises a bunch of past magazine tests. Includes 540i 6 speed from Car and Driver April 95, also 540i sport, Dinan supercharged 540i etc. from Car and Driver Feb 96.
