mysterious apparition in dash cluster

hey guys, i was just inside my car and noticed theres another apparition for a light rught under my turn signal indicatiors. does anyone know what this is for? it looks like turn signal indicatiors but smaller.

on my car that's where the brights indicator is.

i think they are the indicators for a trailer if you wire up a trailer plug as per BMW
