I dont know why the Left front fog light wont work!

I looked at my LKM, it seems to be in good shape. I did notice that mine has 3 relays, instead of 4, as shown here...

1 on the left side and two on the right.

I replaced the fuses for the foglights. Still, nothing.

I suppose you checked the bulb..........

US LKM's have only 3 relais, as they do not have a relay for rear fog lights.

Check the small contacts in the relay.

of course. the buld if new and works if i use the connection from the right side, ive had this problem for a long time now. Except recently, the foglight error just decided to show up on the check control not too long ago..

Check the wires by the foglights. Mine are rather flaky.

To check that I would need the exact month of production. 1989 is not enough, wiring diagrams changed 02/1989.
Go to the wiring diagram and select the correct one for your production date, and the check page 14, 13 etc., all relays and fuses are there

You need to resolder the single one by itself... if you flip it around. You will see 3 pins... middle is power and the other two is left and right. So reflow the solder and add a tiny bit more and you will fix the problem.

So I reflowed and soldered the pins, still, the front left foglight is still out...

What's left to do???

i've got the same problem, i've done the same as you with the lkm, the bulb is good and the wiring that goes to its seem fine, although i don't have a multimeter or test lamp to be able to test it properly, i'm nearly bald from scratching my head so much
