View Full Version : Question on diff. ratios for transmission swap

im thinking about swapping out the auto in my 90' 525i to a manual of the same year. My auto has a 4.10 rear end and the manual came with a 3.73. will there be problems, or will i just have a quick first gear?

hmmm, no, texas. my manual says i have a 4.10, also a couple websites confirmed. maybe conflicting info?? maybe i have a australian manual?
