how to wire the headunit

hey guys, i have a 1990 525i. the radio is dead and i have an aftermarket one lying around so i figured i would put it in. Heres the problem, i have the old wiring and cant use the harness were its plug and play so my question to you guys is how do i wire it up without the harness?

Any auto stereo place should be able to sell you an adapter kid that you can use, Crutchfield should have them too.

An adapter kit won't help him.
