I just stocked up on borrowed tools from my work. Already circumvented what would have been a major PITA, I found a 7 mm allen key bit.
So far my car is getting:
New waterpump
new thermostat
new fan clutch
New Dogbones (rear Pittman arms)
new hoses in the intake
Clean out my ICV
new front brake discs and pads
he's having a big end to the year ;)

made my orc weapon of death as well (fan pulley holder)
and got a 32 mm snapon open wrench :D

Yeah, I'm elbow deep in my 540. Replacing driveshaft (includes R&R exhaust), R&R intake manifold/gaskets, valvecovers/gaskets, oil-seperator (pcv), pcv tube o-rings, painting valve covers, cleaning injectors....
Have I left anything out? Probably, I'm so tired I can't think straight.

Last week, replaced front strut cartridges, and brake pads.

Best of luck on yours,

Regards,
M.R.

If I had a garage, and wouldn't be raped by the freezing Oregon rain, then yes I'd be in the same boat as you folks.

Just curious: What are you painting the valve covers with? And what color? I want to do mine but can't decide on painting or powder coating in silver.

I'm really busy too, putting this head back together. If I want this head on for Christmas, then I'm gonna have to work round the clock!

Cheers,
