Picked up this car just last month ,well blown headgasket now but I had my fun for now,$359 speeding ticket 163 km in a 100 km zone,off the gas I might add,cop dropped to 149 km.He was busy.
ANy way here is the meat and potatoes of it
1987 325is chassis
3.3L motor out a 733i, Electromotive Tec 2 engine management
cartech manifold, garret turbo, turbonetics wastegate adjustable under the hood,set to 7 pounds
e32 intake vavles, e32 oil pan, 3" exhaust front to rear with stainless muff.
dinan air to air intercooler, custom front stut bar, magnacor plug wires,
5 series rad, 5 speed tranny- 3 piece getrag 265
ground control suspension. with bilstien sport shocks
stock sway bars, rear end ratio is 3.25/1
dinan adjustable rear cross member
and custom drive shaft
and Id add this !@##$% is lightning fast,midrange incredible pulling car.
Maybe it should be a 345i cause it sure pulls like it should be.
like i said blown head gasket and waterpump,got to find out what year this
733i engine is???anyone know thru block casting numbers,head part number,that i might determine it?year?Dont want to get the wrong gasket set.Thankx in advance for any info want to get this baby back on the road,Spank some more domestics and well imports,LOL
