e36 interior into e30?

I picked up an 84 325e and the seats are TRASHED. I was wondering if e36 seats from a 96 325is would even fit? It doesn't have to bolt right up as mods can be made....thanks

IT can be done as I've seen E36 seats in E30s BUT I don't know if it is an easy job.
Suppose all you can do is compare the tracks of both and go from there.

i looked at putting vaders in my e30 once and it looked like a pain in the ass so i didn't, just about anything it possible with a welder and some metal though

Hmmm. I found some seats at a junkyard ~30 miles from me in the 96 325is coincidently. The thing had been creamed though and all the glass was broken and ****, and its been there for a few months, so I can only imagine the seats are probably JUNK. There is a 1992 e34 525i in a junkyard about 70 miles from me though....just minor rear end damage. You guys need anything?
