Hey Guys,

First I want to thank everyone for all the great info I got while doing my "front end clunk" search. Both of the ball joints are shot on the passenger side. My first question is do I really have to replace the whole arm? Is there anyway to just press in a new balljoint. Secondly Bavarian autosport seems to have the cheapest lower arm at 59 dollars. Has anybody used them, and are they any good. The aluminum one I priced was $259. My car is a 93 525it.

Thanks, Edward

You'll have to replace the whole arm.

do a search on thrust arms, the cheap units crapped out on me in a week...if you can afford it get Lemforders, ALL the other brands are crap from the balljoints, balljoint boots to the bushings crapping out instantly.

do a search
