changing steering box

hey guys,

how difficult is it to change a steering box? the one on my e31 has got major play and i want to swap in a good one..

Is it anywhere near the e34 local? If so, its a bit of a PITA, just due to lack of manuvering room. Only a few nuts to crack but theiy happen to be in a cluster f'ck on the e34. Can't imagine there being too much room available with two M50s shoehorned in a e31 ;)
