The price isnt bad for a set of staggered M-par replicas- the tires are crap, of course.
The problem you will have, is in the offset of the wheels. If these wheels have an offset greater than 20mm, they wont fit without using spacers, and even if they do go on w/o hitting the strut,,your handling will be crappy.
Do a search on this forun re: wheel offset, and you will find loads of info.
Its generally felt, that if you have to use spacers, sell the wheels, and get a set with the proper offset.

Good luck----

740i size and offset 18x8 +13 18x9.5+25

E34 M5 size and offset 18x8 +20 18x9 +22

My MKI size and offset 18x8.5 +13 18x10+20

Looks like it should work fine. The tires from a 740 will not work tho.

Great, thanks for the help. What tire size would you recommend?

the tire size onthere is too big. 235/50 is the problem. since theyre staggered, go with 235/40/18 up front and 265/35/18 in the rear

I've only heard that if you have a 235 up front, go no larger than a 255. Some run 235 in front and 245 in back.

Any more will have a profound effect on understeer.

LIquidtiger is running that size, iirc. yes it may affect understeer but you know the nature of your beast. I've seen up to 285 in the rear. BigTed00 has 285's, or he used to when the car was owned by a guy in florida...

The centre bores are 74mm, so you will need to get a set of hub-centric rings to make them fit your E34 (72.6mm), that's no problem, they are readily available.

The offset on the rear will likely push the rear tyre very close to the trailing arm. I tried these wheels on the M5, but only ended up with about 1mm clearance, and so didn't go ahead. If you ran a spacer of about 3mm, they should fit OK.

The offset on the front will push the wheels too close to the guards, and if the car has been lowered, they will rub. I used to run these wheels on the front of my car, and they would rub occassionally, but last time I was on the skidpan, they rubbed so much they they actually bent the guards. If your car hasn't been lowered, you might be OK.

Wheels look great though, and you got them for a great price, well done!
