I recently was reading up on possibly getting an alarm for my 94 530i, and upon further investigation discovered that I already have one!

The only problem that I now have, is that I have no key fob(s). When I purchased the car, there was not mention of an alarm at all so naturally assumed that there was not one.

Which brings me to my question, do any of you know where to get a keyless entry remote (key fob) for relatively cheap? Preferably a flip one :D

However I did stumble upon the programming of the key though, just in case anyone was looking for it.

Thanks,

P.S. I did do some searching and was dissatisfied as the the results I received for this query.

I was pretty sure you just give the VIN to the dealer and they can cut you the switchblade keys and set the proper frequency for the remote. I bet its expensive as hell though. If I recall, it was somewhere in the ballpark of $250.00 for 2.
