They're not terribly good, I used my folks digital camera and I'm not sure why they all ended up so blurry. I took about 20 and these are the only ones that don't make my head hurt from looking at them, like looking through grandma's glasses. I will try for better ones another day.

It's all about shutter speed! When the light is not so bright, you have to move the ISO speed (film speed) higher in the camera. What this does is 'turn up the volume' of the sensor so you can have a faster shutter speed. The faster shutter speed stops the motion blur you got with the no-flash pictures of the interior.

Nice car.

OMG You have the 5 speed auto in yours! I hate you! >:O

Why is it that most of us got stuck with the 4-speed? :( I wonder if its just a simple swap of the 5 speed trans and computer to convert.

Anyway, that first pic is pretty neat, it looks cloudy, wet, and really cold outside :D

The V8 auto's all had 5 speeds.

Man, I want a 540 so bad. That's one nice car, I love the interior. I wonder why it has the basketweaves though?

Not sure about the States, but in the rest of the world, the 95 525i's had 5-speed autoboxes as well. At least, mine does.

Lol, I've always wanted to meet a girl named Heidi :) Most German girl names aren't very sexy...

Thanks for the suggestion bsell, not sure what the ISO was set to.

Afaik, all the 540 autos came with the 5-speed. Never seen a 525 5-speed! That's pretty wild! Is it a ZF too? Was it a swap? Also, the wheels are Style-5s, in junior size with 0 lip haha. Will look nicer I hope when I install the Sachs kit, but I might leave the wheels, they're my favourite stock look.

There was a cell phone clip there when I bought the car that fell off (double sided tape :(), and i wasn't sure what to do with that space. I thought about getting another clip, then i wanted a switch for an air horn (but I can't find one that doesn't sound like a freakin ice cream truck), in the end i just left the splotch. But I'll get rid of it.

They did. I have one. It's a ZF, and it came from the factory. I live in Australia and we got different cars to the ones sold in the States, so for all I know US spec 95 525i's could very well have had only 4-speed if the original buyer opted for an automatic.

Wow, power lines are like my biggest phobia in life... I know it's weird, lol but i will almost never get out of the car under them. On another note the E34 looks sweet, damn i'm jealous of the newer wide kidneys :(

power lines are bad for you, but only over extended periods of time. i'd be more worried about fluorescent lights!

My '95 525I, bought in Japan but is LHD, has the 5 speed auto also.

Does that mean I win the auto-trans lottery or something?:D

Seriously, are the five speed autos something other than the old Shitvette transmissions? I plan on driving the car in Germany for the next four years and want to put an engine chip in it to get some more power. I would like the peace of mind knowing the trans is something stouter than an old GM 3 speed with crap hung out front for fourth gear...
