I bought some clear side turn signals for my e34 from abrahams. (It is the signal near the fender and door. I know some US-spec doesn't have these.) Anyway, the housing is too large on the clear lights I bought and don't fit the OEM bulb connector so it doesn't 'click' in. How can I install these? The clear lights do come with wires and its own bulb connector, but seems too complicated to install without looking on the other side of the body panel.

A little confused. Are you replacing the orange side marker on the bumper with a clear 'euro' one, mounted on the fender in the pic below?

What OEM connector are you referring to? In the set-up shown above, the wiring from the connector on the original bumper side marker was lengthened and used on the new marker. Others use signal indicator wiring so they blink. If I was to do this again, I might try that. Oh, and I cut the US bumper to fit the new marker.

Not sure if this helped at all, but welcome and hopefully you're answer will come. Oh, fill out your profile so we nkow what we're dealing with.

No, my E34 is from Japan. They have side turn signals. Sorry I don't have a pic. The turn signal is not on a bumper or a molding (like the pic above). They are on the body panel like the E36's.
