View Full Version : E34 Touring Rear Glass Prop arms

My '94 Touring's rear glass hatch is held up by two pistons on either side. Often they work ok, but often they don't support the glass and you have to hold it up to access the rear cargo area. Does this imply the piston's are leaking, and if so, can they be replaced? What is involved with this repair?

just subsitute a long screw driver for that BMW special tool and it's done!
