I realise most of you on this forum are staring winter in the face, but just give a thought to some of us who are sweltering at the moment.

40.5 *C on my exterior temp gauge. ( = 105 *F)

Did I mention we have been in a drought for the past 7 years ?

Where are you located? It's been cold in southern California in the past 2 days. 62F (14C) outside.

Pish posh, I have an Oxford Green (one shade away from black) with no air-con, and we in Melbourne get a few days over 42degC.

Feels like 80 inside. We get dry hot days though, humid hot days would **** me to no end.

damn right Bo. humid as hell this afternoon with some spectacular lightning and thunder and no rain to speak of, as our comrades overseas might like to know its as dry as a dead dingoes donga! if nothing else our current environment and conditions reinforce the fact that if you plant an Aussie garden theres no need for watering.
