Hi all,

I know there has been many a debate over the aftermarket Angel eyes found on flea-bay. But has anyone seen these new Black ones?

I’m really interested for my very dark orient blue 540. But really need to see a better photo. Has anybody already gone this way?

What’s the consensuses?

"These head-lights are only suitable for right hand drive cars."

Fixed with no adjustment it seems.

no, im sure it means the beam angle is for rhd cars and cant be reversed, so if you use them in a lhd car, you might be blinding on coming drivers

Hi,
These are not exactly cheap, and no angel eyes, but I think are the best:

Exactly. All the angels (non-black) I've seen just have a simple adjustment (being Euro) to go LHD to RHD...

__/ to \__ just by rotating the housing. Guess for some reason these don't.

just a very quick test with photoshop on a recent-ish photo. real thing would look better than this but not sure what do you think? to dark? or darker the better? also what black/carbon kidneys soon.

hmm i wonder how well the hi beams work seeing that theres no reflector, the low beams dont need the reflectors that much but the hi's do.

It claims to use reflective black paint.

That’s what I were wondering, they just don’t look as though they’d work at night!

Macv, do you still have the photos you posted? I cant locate your thread on the subject. Were they any clearer?
