who has the best prices on them and where did you get them? Im thinking about getting a set for my car. Im looking for ones that are made well and dont collect water after you wash the car or it rains. Also how do you get that light orange tint on them? I dont like the completely clear look.

thanks,

I bought mine used so I can't really comment on where the best place to get them is, but the light orange tint you are referring to is probably the reflection of the orrange bulb you will need in there to maintain the proper flash color in the turn signals. For mine, I taped the bulb so that only the top half showed. I then lightly sprayed the exposed part with high temp silver paint. This keeps the clear corners from looking like they have egg yolks in them but still allows them to flash orange.

Well I'm in Australia, so I'm not sure how helpful my information is to you.

I got mine from fleabay, they look exactly like these:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/BMW-E34-5-Series-Clear-Light-Update-Kit_W0QQitemZ130047197385QQihZ003QQcategoryZ102322 QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I got postage ('shipping') for free since I mentioned that I was part of a european car club here in Australia.

These are DEPO clears, many people have problems with them but I didn't have many, except for the rear tail lights which aren't manufactured that well and require some slight modification to actually get the globe connectors to click in properly.

If you want well made ones, get Hella ones. Hella make the OE parts for BMW for clear lenses anyway. You will be paying more for them though (obviously).

Even though I have the cheap-ass DEPOs, I haven't had any problems with them as sometimes reported in here -- no water getting in, no Brake Light circuit errors, no globes popping or not working.

Not sure about a light orange tint -- to be honest, I haven't seen any with a light orange tint, and I'm not sure if it would look good or not. You could try just having the clear lens as normal and putting in an orange bulb, you will be able to see the orange even when the blinker's not blinking.

ha, I know what you mean, I think that looks really nice compared to totally clear  :)

Like schnell944 and Yiorgos said, I'm pretty sure this look is just from having an orange bulb in a clear housing.

dont buy the cheap crap on ebay. Go to http://abrahamsmotorsport.com/
they have the good stuff, it costs more but you will thank yourself later. At least on the clear corners the ebay ones go to crap in less than 1 year. I dont know about the tails. let me know if there decent but the hellas are stock quality.

Once again... nothing's better than the European clears from Hella! I got the front, side and rear clear corners for about $300 total! I'm SO happy with the quality and finish of the Hella lights, I don't think anything would even come close...

But don't take my word for how they look... just judge for yourself!

Buy Hellas only. BMA or abrahamsmotorsport.com.

The "light orange" you are referring to is simply using an orange bulb in the turn signal slot. It gives the "egg yolk" effect that I quite like honestly.
