M60 Intake gasket placement

Can I use BLUE RTV silicone gasket maker to firmly place intake gaskets to the manifold?

If not what else I can use. I see the old gasket was held by some glue.

I think you'll have nothing but trouble using RTV for the intake gasket. See picture.

The custom profile gasket fits between the slots like a glove.
