also, i forgot to mention, i have an 89 525i M20. I noticed there is also a 5 CD set availlable, what is the difference b/w the two? Thanks again...

ETK is the Parts CAtalog for all BMW including motorcycles; TIS is Tech Info; The rest are PDF Tech Documentation for specific models. Definitely worth the price of the CDs. ALL the info is there: Torque specs, volumes, etc.

Yeah, you want those. That's a great price. The one I find the most useful is the KSD (customer service disk), which tells you how long certain jobs will take.

Does any of those CD's you seen on ebay 5CD set or soemthing have the same info as a Bentley Manual. The how to procedures for maintenance?

mine don't have procedures for repairs.

But the parts detail is very good. That plus Bentley's is a great combo.

CD's plus Bentley's plus this Board and it's archives, and you'll have a pretty good database to work from.
