heated seat fix

anyone have any advice/ idea where to start looking for a heated seat problem on a 1995 5'er? the back of the seat gets hot, but the ass does not

You can check the heater with an ohm meter. Odds are that the heater element has a broken wire. They are about $90. I just replaced them in my wife's 325. Not a bad job with the right tools.
