Hi,
My first post of hopefully many more to come. I'm looking to pickup my first E34 BWM and wanted to ask here if the community felt this was a good deal or not. Also any other advice about purchasing on of these car is always appreciated. TIA

Details / What I know
1992 525i
Blk on Blk
190,000+ miles
Runs and Drives
Just about warning every light is on
Sunroof I'm assuming is broken
Headliner is falling down
Minimal rust, one small dent and one spot which has been keyed.
New brakes and struts.

I've talked the seller down to $1500.

Good Deal or Run away??
(I've done all my own rebuilds and repairs for over 20 years)

If the tranny has been replaced or rebuilt recently, I don't think it's a bad price. You could drop $2k in parts pretty fast refreshing the suspension, eliminating SLS/LAD, repairing the hatch struts & harnesses, working out the other electrical bugs, and have a decent car for $3500.

that would make a good mechanics car but if you cant do any of that work yourself i would say walk away. (nevermind i just read you do all your own work)

I'm up in NY but I'd be willing to fly down and drive back the right car.
Looking for Black on Black/Tan. Wagon only.
