Hi Guys,

I have an e34 535i and an e32 735i M30 engine, would like to know if there is a defference between the engine harness and if anyone would have the pinout diagram of the same harness round plug C101.
Both engines are supposed to be the m30 b35.

Many thanks,

Raph.

Does either have the electronic throttle? Otherwise, the m30b35's are universal with the motronic 1.3 DME ending with 179.

Martin, they both have throttle cables, mechanical.

I am doing an m30 transplant into my 87 325is e30. I would like to configure the C101 to work with the chassis harness on the e30.

Thanks for the reply.

WOW, I have not checked through the entire list, but thanks so much for the link. Tons of info there regardless if it has what I am looking for or not, nice info.

Thanks again.

There are all E32 wiring diagrams, pinouts etc. by built year under electronics
'electr. troubleshooting manual'

This has been my plan for a few years as well, but with a new house 2 years ago, setting up back the new garage and working on other people cars, time went by.

I had turbocharged my e30 m20 but this is my dream as well.

My e30 is in mint condition and I just pulled an m30 from wrecked 89 e32 with only 85,000 miles on it. I will still pull the head, do a mild port and polish, decarbonise, ARP head bolts and put it back togeather.
I am also doing a 5 lug conversion/swap with coil overs.

I just finished painting the engine bay, which was 99% rust free.

Will send you links to my website as I upload.

Cheers,

Raph.

I am looking for an illustration like this but for the m30.

Guess I will have to trace the circuit diagram on the PDF manual hosted on the BMW E32 & series website.
