Thrust Arms

Hi All,

I changed my thrust arms today. Not easy to get to the nut side of it, both to remove and install.

My question...

I know you need to have the weight of the car resting on the tires before tightening them, however.......

Is it OK to have the front end on ramps the rear on the ground, or is the shift of weight to the rear to great.

With the spoiler and side skirts, I can't see how to do it, short of the front end on ramps the rear in the air on stands.

Yeah the front wheels on the ramps are fine with the rear wheels on the ground. Bill R metioned a while ago BMW recommends that you have two people in the front and one on the rear seat also.

tighten them on ramps and forget about it.
