This is what i got to replace the last one which was defective. They didn't have any more of the other. I didn't like it at first but its starting to grow on me.. Still the pic looks like real burl wood and in real life it looks very much like plastic...

dont eat or drink in your car, a spill of anything down the window switches is punishment in itself... look it up.

Such as coffee, that you got from the bank, that you spilled, while selecting (D)drive, and still have not cleaned :( I've noticed they work best after the car has been an oven in the sun for a few hours.

That's a wicked throw. You need a shorter shifter :)

Anyway, looks good. Momo or knockoff?

How can you tell if its genuine? The "wood" insert on top looks like plastic to me .I would have thought Momo would be real wood.. it has a little momo badge on it..

kinda funky, but seems like it would be comfy.
I like the long throw. Am I alone in feeling this way? When I drive a car with a short throw, it feels unnatural. Of course I learned to drive on a 78 IH Scout which had like a 12" throw!!! What a gas!!!:)

Here's (http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/viewimage.x/00000000/crowderscustomizing/MOMO_Combat_EVO_Wood.jpg?vvid=60087665&allow_mailing_list=1&allow_track_link=1&track=0235f90e3a-cf431&sp=0) the pic from the guy's site that from which i bought the other one. The wood i guess still doesn't look real now that i look again but it looks alot more natural than what i see on the one i got.Not sure what i'd get though if i returned this one.. but holy smokes! THIS (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MOMO-Shift-Knob-Combat-Briarwood-Black-Leather_W0QQitemZ190041708148QQihZ009QQcategoryZ33 703QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem) is what i thought i was ordering ... oy vey... i need to get more sleep..

You'll know it's fake if there's thing like loose stitching, glue residue, misaligned momo logo, etc. There are so many fakes out there and most sites use stock 'genuine' photographs to sell :|
