I've heard you can install a potato chip in your car and get +35hp and +10mpg.

power perfomance, it makes all the usual claims of 15-18bhp increase and upped rev limit and top speed delimit, but its on ebay so i'm a bit dubious

Stick to JC or EAT.

What chip was it?

I just installed an EAT chip and initially I couldn't tell much difference either. After a while though I noticed that the rpm run up was much smoother and faster. Running high octane fuel will free more of the chip's potential.

I have an EAT chip and can definitely feel a difference, can't say about the others but I'd be leary of cheap ebay chips.

never heard of them, might be a copy of a real one burned to a blank chip. but who knows where the program came from? Might work might not and without comparing them side to side you will never know. With name brand companies you get what is advertised usually that is.
