I think an earlier thread had mentioned lowering, so I'll use it as an excuse to re-post my pics.

After more than three months of garage rest and plenty of tinkering, the 525im is back on the road. With lots of help from the board I was able to accomplish a fair bit in my spare time betwen cold snaps (no heat in garage). Some may recall that the vehicle suffered some damage and was treated to a new hood, fender, lights etc. before christmas.

The springs were @ $400 Can., so @ $280 US, pretty economical and lowered the e34 more than the anticipated 1.3", probably due to stock spring sagginesss. I'm quite happy with the appearance, but haven't tested it yet (will be sure to report). Relatively easy and rewarding work to do on your own as well.

A summary of work completed since Jan 1:

-New exhaust
-Guibo
-Shift linkage rebuild and e36 M3 shift lever
-Shocks/struts and Eibach Pro Kit -Thrust arms and dogbones
-New Radiator (Nissens), hoses, BMW coolant, thermo and gasket etc.
-Tranny and Diff fluid swaps (Mobil 1 and Castrol 75/90 SYN respectively)
-Euro side markers (have to deal with old bumber trim yet)
-Shadowline trim with trimbrite blackout tape (thanks gordon and crappy tire)
-Lots of other little things like steering collumn nut tighten and park brake adjust, plugs.........some things I've forgoten.

To still be tinkered:

-17" style 5s or style 32s, let me know if you've seen some for sale.
-New head unit and speakers
-EAT chip
-Fogs (Someone would tell me)
