I'm finally letting her go. It's an emotional topic expecially since I don't know who will be taking her. She's on the bay already so I will attatch the listing. The information I will be copy and pasting into this thread.

ITEM : 230042321427
Ebay sale is scheduled for tomorrow night so I will post a link asap

Note: The lights are for sale separately for anyone interested.

1989 BMW 535i
Enthusiast owned for the past 4 years
Vehicle is in immaculate condition ready to drive across country
2nd Owner
This BMW was purchased 4 years ago and since has seen plenty of maintenance. A lot of money has been spent on this vehicle. This car is ready to drive and drive, it's not for the person looking for a commuter car or something cheap.
The interior is complete
The leather seats are all 100% except for a seam in the rear seat which is separating. (Note: No torn leather on any seats just a seam separation on rear upper seats)
Carpetting is 100% with no stains
The paneling has the typical pealing in the rear which I can take care of if necesarry
The dashboard has no cracking and is 100%
All the interior lights are operable
The exterior has the typical chipping from rocks so the paint for an 89 is actually pretty good. The past owner took well care for this car as did I
I would estimate within the past 4 years the car has seen 4600 estimated in money put into it.
There is no visible rust on the car
The A/C blows cold 100%
The heat works 100%
The seats all are operable
The sunroof is operable
All windows work

The car was washed once a week and waxed every month. I realize this sounds obsessive, although that is how I felt about the car. The E34 chassis was one of the most beautiful bodies designed by BMW. Letting go of this car will not be easy.

The Following has been performed within the past 4 years of ownership:

New Muffler OEM replaced 1 year ago
4 Rear body bushings replaced this October
Front Lower control arms replaced this October
Front Thrust Arms replaced this October
Front Tie rods inner and outer complete replaced this October
Water pump replaced this past July
Right front wheel bearing replaced in April
Brake pads and rotors were replaced one year ago
New front calipers one year ago
Valve Cover gasket replaced in April
New tires as of 1 year ago
Throttle body cleaned in April
Idle control valve cleaned in April
2 PCV lines replaced in July
1 radiator hose replaced and flushed in July
New Spare Rim with OEM Dunlop tire 95% tread
Oil changed to synthetic recently and at 4,000 intervals
All 4 door moulding replaced 2 year ago

I would like to note that the below pictures display a set of European French Hella ellipsoids. These lights will not be sold with the car. Note: the lights being sold with this car are to be stock US DOT approved Hella ellipsoids and freeform high beams equipped with stock 9006 and 9005 bulbs. The car will also be sold with the original stock BMW headunit.

These lights can be purchased seperately from this auction although further arrangements will be necesarry.

I am open to anybody coming and looking at the car. I can be contacted at:

Sorry about that forgot to mention that the auction will start tomorrow evening. I finished making the listing too late tonight and thought timing was wrong. This information is copied and pasted out of the auction by the way

****, I've got pics somewhere. his car is my twin! even has the yellow headlights to match. definitely can vouch for a hell of a 535, in way better condition than mine. minus the m parallels or course ;)

edit: Matt, wtf, not selling it with the Frenchies? are you putting them on your dad's m5?

Thanks Nat for chiming in. The frenchies are for sale separately and if I don't get the right numbers, they'll just be tossed on the M5 and another set on the M3 now we'll have matching M's. Next is a respray with M// stripes.

Hmm... I really want another E34.

Are there any known issues with the auto transmissions?

(at this point and time I wouldn't mind an auto trans)

Well I stated in an update on the auction that there are no known problems with the transmission out of the 4 years I have owned it. The tranny shifts on time and with no slipping of the clutches.
