I have a 92 535 Automatic. I am getting the dreaded Trans Program message on the dasboard display. I believe I have read every thread on this subject and I am still having the problem. I am at a loss for what to try next :(

So here it is, perhaps some of you will have a new suggestion.

The Trans Program message comes on as soon as I start the car.

Here are all the things I have already done that may have a bearing on this issue:

1. Disconnect Battery, Short the wires and restart.
2. Reflow Solder Joinnt in TCU as per Bill R.
3. Change Transmission Speed Sensor
4. Test with a known good Trans Selector Switch
5. Rebuild Transmission Cleaned Valve Body and installed all new disks.
6. Rebuild Torque converter
7. Replace Air Flow meter
8. Replace Engine Rotation Sensor
9. Replace Lambda Sensor (02)
10. Test with new relays in E Box
11. Replace Battery with a 95+ amp battery
12. Replace ignition coil

After the Tranny rebuild the Peake Code reader was giving me code 36 which is Torque Converter Clutch"
This did not happen before the Tranny rebuild (TC rebuild was 6 mo ago.)
Also, the Tranny is hitting hard when switched into Drive or Reverse (With the breaks on). The Indy doing the rebuild opened it again and replaced some disks to eeliminate some gaps which might account for the hitting.

Any suggestions out there?
