Found myself some electric seats

Hello again.

Finally got myself some electric seats from a junkyard.

The drivers seat had bad seat twist.
I also noticed that when i pushed the switch to lift the seat that it moved unevenly.
I ended up shortening all the plastic sheeths on both seats.

The leather on the electric seats was very bad, so decided to swap the leather from my current manual seats. Quite easy actually.

You'll notice in these photo's i took that my father and i had to weld the top of the drivers seat frame.
So if you do find electric seats that have the dreaded twist, i would definately check that the metal at the top is not torn.

Last but not least i managed to aquire a auto dimming mirror. Thanks to some posts found on this wonderful site, we managed to wire it up correctly,and now have a fully functioning mirror.

Thats all from me for now.
Will hopefully be putting in tweeter panels this weekend and a few other bits and pieces.

You had non automatic seats in your car? I thought all e34's came with power seats at least for the driver.

Unfortunately most of the 520's here did not come with electric seats.

my 89 525 came with manual cloth seats, but i don't care, because i got a black leather interior today for £250, the front seats are still manual though but what the hell
