Touring value ?

I am thinking of a 7er again. I can either invest more money in used cars or sell something.
My '95 525 touring may go to pay for it. KBB says good cond trade @ $4250 and private seller @ $6180.
What is the real world? have any of you bought something comparable recently and please share what you paid.

Color, miles, condition and service documentation will help set an asking price. Say it's a 9 out of 10 in all areas it would fetch closer to $7200, while a beater might only get $3900...

I've been meaning to take and post a pic since I bought it. WE just bought a nice digital camera so I guess I'm out of excuses for not having it's photo on my sig.
It's white and tan with 116k all the usual E34 stuff now sorted( which makes me a bit reluctant to sell) and in good condition.
I'm not looking for offers as much as trying to figure how much quick cash I could get if needed. I'd prefer to keep it and a 7 if I can.
I've already got five cars now though and that's after just having sold our longtime van that the 5er replaced.

I really like the touring and my GF now concedes that she also likes it. I just can't resist an E32 and a low mileage example has presented itself. It's overpriced I think but I'm meeting the owner in the morning anyway to see if I can't chisel the price a bit, assuming the car is as represented.
